Connection
This time of worship, discipleship and fellowship is designed to make new connections with friends, God and ourselves. We meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 7:45 p.m. A supper is provided at 6:00 p.m. for all students and leaders!
Small Group Bible Study
This time of discipleship and fellowship is for students interested in getting to know God more intimately. Students are challenged to look a the truths of Scripture as they intersect with their own life. Small Group Bible Study is held on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m.
Music
To continue living out the purpose of Worship, students are provided many opportunities to use their musical gifts. On Wednesday evenings, Middle School Choir is offered at 6:20 p.m. and High School Handbells at 7:15 p.m. On Sundays, High School Choir and Middle School Handbells are offered at 5:00 p.m., and at 4:15 p.m. select High School Choral Ensembles rehearse. Twice monthly immediately following 11 a.m. worship, an Instrumental Ensemble meets. Through special programs, involvement in Worship, and ministering throughout our community, these groups share the love of God.
Missions
Because Jesus commanded us in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you . . . Students are provided an opportunity to participate in Acteens (girls) and RA’s (guys). Not only do students learn about missions across the world, they also will participate in many different service projects such as C.A.R.I.T.A.S. homeless ministry; Oregon Hill Christmas Store; SBC Camp Outreach, and more! High School Missions are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:20 p.m. and Middle School Misions are held on Wednesday evengins at 6:55 p.m.
Retreats and Camp Experiences
Multiple retreat and camp experiences are provided for students to live out the purposes of fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and missions. The fall includes both a Middle and High School Retreat. During the winter months, a ski trip is offered to both Middle and High School students. A Disciple Now Weekend is held at homes during the spring. The summer months provide both a camp experience which includes mission segments for all students.
